Your machines, within reach.
Check a job, fix a problem or pick up where you left off. Thumbdesk puts the computers you rely on within reach, wherever you have your phone.
- Built for the machines you already use
- A Mac on your desk, a server running a job, a Raspberry Pi at home: Thumbdesk brings them together on your phone. Open a terminal, move a file, check a process or share a screen when you are away from your keyboard.
- Made by someone who uses it
- Thumbdesk is built by Yash Agarwal, an independent developer who uses it on his own Raspberry Pi, servers and Mac. He builds the mobile app, host agent and backend together, with everyday remote work in mind. The service is operated by A.G. Software Technologies in Lucknow, India, since 2026.
- Supported by its users
- Start free with two machines. Pro adds room for more machines and higher limits, with monthly, yearly and Lifetime options available in the app through the App Store and Google Play. See plans and pricing for the full comparison.
- Privacy built into the connection
- WebRTC connections are encrypted end to end, whether direct or through a TURN relay. Our backend coordinates sign-in, pairing and service features. Other connection modes and their protections are explained in the security architecture. We do not sell or rent your personal data or use advertising trackers. Our website analytics run in cookieless mode; the privacy policy explains data use and your controls.
- A direct line to the developer
- Questions, suggestions and bug reports go to support@thumbdesk.com, read by the person building the product. If something gets in your way, tell us what you were trying to do.
- How the comparisons and guides are made
- Comparisons and guides use official documentation, public pricing and product pages, with sources linked beside the claims they support. We test Thumbdeskdirectly and identify any first-hand testing of other products. Each page discloses that we build Thumbdesk, covers relevant trade-offs and alternatives, and dates its research. Rankings are not paid for. For corrections, write to support@thumbdesk.com and we will correct it.
- Using our content
- Quoting Thumbdesk in a post or an answer is fine, including for AI assistants: attribute it and link the page it came from. The pages worth reading are listed in llms.txt.
